Very few people know that Northland is a sportswear brand from Austria and was founded in 1973.
Behind this is a family company that has developed and produced high-quality clothing and equipment for mountain sports enthusiasts from the very beginning.
The founder of Northland – himself an enthusiastic extreme mountaineer – organized expeditions to the highest mountains in the world in the 1970s, he noticed the poor clothing and equipment of the participants and so he came up with the idea of designing a collection himself.
The milestone was laid – Northland was born.
According to the slogan “Spirit of sportive lifestyle”, the collections show a world in which function and design harmonize wonderfully with one another. Northland Professional – the brand from Austria stands for urban and sporty lifestyle.
